The golf course is situated about 6km inland, and just outside the town of Vera in Almeria province.The Valle del Este 18-hole golf course has been carefully designed to combine holes that represent a real challenge to the player, with other less strenuous holes.

The course has been designed by José Canales, paying careful attention to every detail and integrating the course into the surrounding landscape by making use of indigenous vegetation. The course design and setting make it quite spectacular. The tees are particularly noteworthy, positioned on small raised platforms surrounded by volcanic rock, as well as the wide, generous fairways.
